Life After Coal Solidarity Statement in Support of SERI
Life After Coal, a coalition of groundWork, Earthlife Africa, and the Centre for Environmental Rights, stands in firm solidarity with the Socio-Economic Rights Institute (SERI), Abahlali baseMjondolo and other civil society organisations currently under attack by Operation Dudula for their efforts to protect and support society’s most vulnerable, including migrants.
We reaffirm our commitment to upholding the rights and dignity of all people, regardless of nationality or status. LAC stands with human rights defenders and with all organisations working tirelessly to build a just and inclusive society.
An attack on one is an attack on all. We will not be silent in the face of injustice.
