The South Durban Community Environmental Alliance Presents the National Oil and Gas Conference –Were Unity Will Shape Tomorrow’s Sustainable Future.
The South Durban Community Environmental Alliance (SDCEA) is proud to announce the upcoming National Oil and Gas Conference, taking place on the 3rd and 4th of September 2025 at the Blue Waters Hotel in Durban, located in KwaZulu-Natal. This important event will bring together stakeholders from across South Africa such as environmental and social justice organizations, fisherfolk, coastal communities, researchers, conservationists and media to engage in open, informed, and impactful dialogues on the impacts of oil and gas developments. Following the theme “Protecting Our Land and Oceans, Securing Our Future”, this conference will give the attendees a national platform to explore the impacts of oil and gas developments, challenges that affect the various communities, and the available options towards a sustainable future for South Africa.
